Christmas. A time for you to go back home and spend time with your loved ones. For all of us, Lawless Roleplay is our home in the San Andreas Multiplayer community. So we invite everyone to come back home and enjoy the festive season with us. Let's roll out the Christmas festive lights, atmosphere, awesome events, minigames, street parties and a hell load of fun! - But before we do that, let's take a moment to refresh our memory of Lawless Roleplay's mission statement.

Lawless Roleplay is, and always, will be a community first and a game server second. We are dedicated to fostering an environment with a member-centric approach where all players have equal potential for in game success and community recognition.

The development team has struggled in the past year and this has crippled our ambitions and desire to provide cutting edge features. I am the sole developer and combined with my management responsibilities – I hardly find the time to develop and manage the server at the same time. Today, we want to get out of this gridlock and get the community more involved and engaged by opening the development department to the community. A community made by players, for players.

The development department is made of three sub-departments: Scripting, Mapping and Testing Teams. The development team’s role is to provide the server with the tools and functionality to enable everyone to have ultimate fun.

The scripting team’s main responsibility is to update the script with new features, bug fixes and to ensure the in-game mechanics are running smoothly...

The past few days that have gone by have been very difficult for all of us. Most of you are aware that we were attacked, multiple times, causing the server to unexpectedly shut down, many people freaked out thinking it was the end of Lawless Roleplay but I am here today to tell those people, you are wrong.

We don't give up that easily. Since the start of the attacks, I have stayed awake overnight trying to block the distributed denial of service attacks. I want you all to know that we will do whatever it costs to bring the community back online in dark times like this, even if that means we stay awake all night trying to figure this out.

So I would like to thank everyone for their patience, trust, loyalty and most importantly support. With the help of the community, we have been able to recover from countless attacks against this community. This isn’t the first time we’ve been attacked and will certainly not be the last time we will be attacked but I want you to know I am here...

Wow!

In less than 24 hours of breaking our player record of 216 players on Saturday 11th June 2016, we did it again! Today (Sunday 12th June 2016), we hit 237 players! Congratulations!


As I've said in the past few player records, this could not be possible without you. You are our secret ingredient in the success of this server. I am forever in your debt for your support, resilience and dedication to this community. Every single person who played here, past or present, have helped us shape this community into what it is today. You guys have done it again!

Today (Saturday 11th June 2016), we hit 216 players! This breaks our previous record of 209 players set on Saturday 21st May 2016 which preceded our previous record of 200 players on Wednesday 20th April 2016. In the space of 2 months, we have broken our player record three times and hopefully we will continue on this path.


The resistance, dedication and resilience of the community is solely behind the success of achieving this great record. Just a few days ago, we were offline for several hours and had intermittent connection problems due to denial of service attacks against our community. Yet our community stood by each other and we came back even stronger than before.
