Update! Server Update v1.4.99(d)

It's been a while since the last update. This patch brings in more stability fixes along with a brand new C.O.C.K. packet verification module.

This module analyses all packets sent between the server and player to ensure all data is not modified or altered. This new module works inline with our recently upgraded firewall and a custom API solution which lets the firewall talk to the game script and uses peripheral tools to analyse packets. The firewall can intercept incoming and outgoing packets and alter them to be correct.

Even if every single player and admin wanted lag shooting, he still wouldn't add it because he personally doesn't want it added. He adds what he wants when he wants. The "Let me explain" thread, while it may seem nice, isn't anything new either. A recent example is the "THE END OF LAWLESS ROLEPLAY" thread.
Has anything really changed since February 14, 2018? Well, let's see what changed since then.
v1.3.82 — A bunch of turf perk changes, I guess that's nice for gangs, does it affect civilians/factions though? Nope.
Car Shop Perk
All gang vehicles spawn with 5,000 health (normally 1,000 health). Making them very strong vehicles.

Bribery Perk
All gang members spend 10 percent less time in prison and get 20 percent discount on materials when creating weapons via /sellgun

Connections Perk
The find marker (/find) lasts for 5 seconds longer and all members get 12 percent more pay doing the drug smuggler job

Safe House Perk
Other players will not be able to find you using the detective job (/find) and you will not gain any notoriety when murdering people

Drug House, Crack House, Drug Factory and Chemical Lab Perks
A bag of 300 grams of pot, crack and chemicals is deposited in the gang safe and the gang will gain money each time people uses products available in said turf

Material Pickup and Material Dropoff Perk
The gang will gain money each time people uses products available in your turf

Combat Shotgun Perk
The gang will have access to sell combat shotguns (Requires Gun Dealer job)

Extortion Perk
Gang will gain 50 percent tax of trades done on your turf, you will also pay no tax and get a $1,150-1,750 bonus on your hourly pay check

Doctor's Note Perk
Your gang members will not pay any hospital fees and will only get stoned after 10 drug uses (normally 5 uses)

Dominance Perk
Your gang can capture 3 more extra turfs

So, what real changes have been made since February of 2018? Duel wield 9mm pistols (with the perk required), gang only turf changes, minor bank robbery changes, R4+ in gangs can capture turfs, you can place boomboxes outside, new nametag system (which has since been removed), pizza delivery job, pot was made a little bit more useful, new mapping additions (again, mapping team does 90% of the work for that though), and this updated anti-cheat. Now, let's actually list real significant changes:
1. Duel 9mm (+ perk required, marksman)
2. Turf perk changes (gang only)
3. R4+ in gangs can capture turfs (gang only)
4. New mappings​
That's less than one thing a month, that's abysmal. I didn't include the pizza delivery job as no one does it anyway, only when it was first initially added did anyone really do it. It goes even lower if you're not in gangs.

This promise was been so empty, he felt the need to even make another one only seven months later (the "Let me explain" thread). Has anything really changed since September 25, 2018 (granted, this time it has only been two weeks since that thread)? Nothing has changed aside from this anti-cheat update. "Well he's running out of things to add" would also be far from the truth, just look at the pending implementation section of the suggestions section (or even the countless lag shooting suggestions: the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth). I do appreciate the work he puts in, but he focuses on things he shouldn't be (a prime example being the pizza delivery job, no major popular suggestion suggested it but it was added over other much more popular suggestions).
As what Raiden's stated it's nearly impossible to add the lag shooting back (I am still hoping that it get implemented) because of the current version of samp.
To y'all peeps asking for lagshooting.

It's pretty much impossible to include it unless we go back to a SAMP version which had it.

That means RIP some of the cool features.
Are you guys willing to put aside some of the cool features of this current samp version just to implement lag shooting?
I'm still hoping that Barney's looking for a way to implement this wonderful lagshooting without converting to a much downgrade version of samp.

So, what real changes have been made since February of 2018? Duel wield 9mm pistols (with the perk required), gang only turf changes, minor bank robbery changes, R4+ in gangs can capture turfs, you can place boomboxes outside, new nametag system (which has since been removed), pizza delivery job, pot was made a little bit more useful, new mapping additions (again, mapping team does 90% of the work for that though), and this updated anti-cheat. Now, let's actually list real significant changes:
1. Duel 9mm (+ perk required, marksman)
2. Turf perk changes (gang only)
3. R4+ in gangs can capture turfs (gang only)
4. New mappings​
That's less than one thing a month, that's abysmal. I didn't include the pizza delivery job as no one does it anyway, only when it was first initially added did anyone really do it. It goes even lower if you're not in gangs.

This promise was been so empty, he felt the need to even make another one only seven months later (the "Let me explain" thread). Has anything really changed since September 25, 2018 (granted, this time it has only been two weeks since that thread)? Nothing has changed aside from this anti-cheat update. "Well he's running out of things to add" would also be far from the truth, just look at the pending implementation section of the suggestions section (or even the countless lag shooting suggestions: the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth). I do appreciate the work he puts in, but he focuses on things he shouldn't be (a prime example being the pizza delivery job, no major popular suggestion suggested it but it was added over other much more popular suggestions).


Even tho I do not play anymore and I'm here on forums for the laugh and truth, this guy basically summed up everything. He lies to everyone even his own high ranked admins, does his own thing without listening to the players. Best believe that

I had a conversation with @Chaprnks like four five months ago, he told me that he finished the update of the anti cheat and you gonna implement it now?

1. I went down to find scripters, so he could manage them and implement it to the server
2. Toompert and I brought simple scripted suggestion that would increase fun and would bring new players
3. When in charge of AP I tried to recruit the best admins and have them go through admin training.
4. The mapping team which I was in charge of had plenty of maps to be added, we even made an anniversary TDM/DM map-ish, that was never implemented (kinda like an island) You can ask @Christian Dodge for approval. He implemented my chemical lab which is in-game, it took him 6 months to add it.

5. The guy is lazy and doesn't care about the server, at one point he gave up and told nobody but a few, he wanted to leave/quit. Please save yourself by thinking positive things about lawless, yeah it had it ups and downs, but this time it is completely over. The guy makes a thread and y'all jumping like he's going to save lawless and do so much good shit. Use your little brain and a bit common sense, you've seen this before and nothing was changed.

6. Do you know why he didn't reinstate me? I criticized one of his updates and was very negative about the upcoming updates, as I look at it from a player perspective and he blocked me from Skype and never responded. THAT'S YOUR OWNER, he doesn't realize that Toom, John and I were the one holding the Management team active when he was gone, he is nothing but a scumbag rat.

The server is down and nobody would come back to play it again, so many OG's (old school players) left and joined other servers, where you actually can play proper.

Because what makes a community is not just updates and useless threads with meaningless words to make it look fancy and like max effort is being put into the server....

A community consists of its players and like the mission statement in 2013 declares that players needs and wants are valued. But that has been thrown out the window.

Cool, yeah, okay... You upgraded the anti-cheat. But the biggest thing we want and BTW something really easy to do is implementing lagshooting back to the game.

I'll attach this and let you read this and hopefully I can change your toxic approach to your fellow players WHO are keeping the server alive... Not the updates, the players.

The only reason I continued to play samp after it got updated to sync was out off loyalty to the server and COMMUNITY. The same loyalty I thought the admin team had towards the community. The game imo is taken way TOO serious and players get punished for minor things and even having fun. I'm not saying allow DM or anything but admins just be more lenient towards us, we've stuck by you through thick and thin and kept the server alive. My honest thoughts on what goes on inside an admins head is 'How do i get promoted?'; Do i need to punish alot of players to be seen? I remember back in the day when admins who did GOOD work got rewarded and actually helped the server, aimed for players to settle their issues together in a sit and make sure they learnt their lesson. There are some good admins like @HankS who doesn't care about his admin rank but wants to help the server, be there for the server and make sure EVERYONE is enjoying themselves. Gangs can have beef sure but all the toxicness and mass number of gang fc's is unreal... It's a game I don't know why people stress at it so much to get their enemies punished. You literally have people baiting to make and fc and that is just destroying the community... Yes, the playerbase has went up this week but I still want changes and lawless to feel 'Lawless' in its own way again. "Make it great again" but this time actually do it.

Barney, you have created group chats to find what the player wants but swayed it towards what you wanted. I saw alot of good ideas that never even got looked at and its not about the time taken to script them because i'm sure the scripters in the lawless community would be happy to help a server where players needs and wants are valued and voted in by the people who actually play the server.

I know you're busy with your life but have you tried to go undercover and play the server like you did in like 2015 as the pd chief Sylvester Stallone? Legit last time I saw you actually play was when your friend Zav (who got that special treatment above all other players btw) was in army and we were doing the RP shit trying to bring the players together. I don't hate you barney but I hate what lawless has become. I respect you for making this server and giving me a place to call 'home' for years on samp but at some point we have to move on when a house no longer feels like a home. I am not sure if you will get round to reading this but if you do I hope it makes you thing of all the GOOD times you had on samp throughout the decade and what made you create lawless.

I have hope in a small part of the lawless community who are putting their effort together to be seen by you show you what we want. Yes you posted a thread 'let me explain' BUT LET US EXPLAIN!!!!
