We're thrilled to announce that the 2023 mayoral elections are officially open for candidates to submit their forms. The anticipation is building as we prepare for these crucial elections that will shape our glorious state of San Andreas!
This is an exciting time because the Mayor has full control over the state's funding and can therefore increase or decrease taxes, fund or defund all factions and law enforcement and more! They can pay for custom projects (( scripts )) and have full control over the state laws!
Get ready to participate and make your voice heard in this exciting virtual democracy!
Key Election Information
- Candidates who wish to participate in this election must assume the role of leader of a political party. To form your political party, you need to submit an application
- Once re-elected, the Mayor can serve a total of 4+4 months (two terms)
- Once a new Mayor is elected, all citizens are eligible to run for office regardless of whether they have been elected twice before
- Take time to complete your application fully as it will be reviewed by an admin before it is approved
Requirements
- You must have lived (( level )) 8 years or longer within the state of San Andreas to run for Mayor/ Party Leader
- You must have lived 3 years or longer within the state of San Andreas to be a member of the Government
- You must have a clean criminal record for the past 3 months (( Punlist - no bans or rule-breaking offences issued ))
- You need to have an overall general knowledge of our city and laws and adapt to every issue and obstacle thrown towards you
- (( You must be aware of the faction & server rules ))
- (( You are willing to be active in-game, on discord, and on our forums ))
- (( You need to have roleplay skills that meet the demands from light RP up to heavy RP ))
The Mayor's Role
We have high expectations for the Mayor. Your primary responsibility is to maintain law and order in our bustling city and effectively contain the activities of violent individuals who endanger our society and way of life. You will be tasked with managing and coordinating law enforcement factions, ensuring they operate efficiently while maintaining standards of fairness and justice.
Moreover, in the spirit of our city, we encourage you to bring your unique ideas and initiatives to the table. Whether it's proposing new regulations, implementing policies that enhance the quality of life for our citizens, or embarking on projects that add depth and excitement to our Los Santos city, your creativity and dedication will be instrumental in steering our city towards prosperity and ensuring an engaging and immersive experience for all.

Voting will end on the 25th September and the new Mayor will be elected on the morning of the 26th September.
