At approximately 11:23 PM, the Los Santos Police Department central headquarters was set on fire by a notorious pyromaniac. The arsonist crashed his Huntley into the side of the building, and the LSPD officers inside were immediately alerted and ran outside to examine the situation. The Huntley had a strong smell of gasoline, reported several officers after calling the LSFMD over the department radio. By the time the police officers were at the scene, the car was already on fire and the arsonist was fleeing. Two officers chased down the criminal and managed to catch him while the left side of the building was catching on fire, as well as the trees and shrubbery near the vehicle. Several criminals detained inside the cells of the building were immediately rushed out of the building, sustaining no injuries. The car promptly exploded due to the fire, causing even more damage to the central headquarters.

LSFMD firefighters arrived at the scene after approximately twelve minutes, extinguishing the fire and salvaging what was left after all the damage.

The pyromaniac has been detained by the LSPD to be arrested, but the central headquarters has suffered major damage and requires immediate reconstruction. There were no major or fatal injuries, however, many physical files and data within the building have been destroyed.

We speculate that the arsonist was trying to destroy evidence from our locker, which explains why he was targeting that side of the building, which is where our evidence storage was located.
