San Andreas News is Los Santos' leading information and entertainment multimedia conglomerate. It is fundamentally involved in radio broadcasting and publishing articles, as well as in producing media and radio programming for the audiences of Los Santos and other the surrounding region.

We are currently looking for accomplished journalists to write articles for us. This role offers diversity in positioning, and and opportunity for relevant career progression for suitable candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities

The main responsibility of a journalist is to report the news in a truthful and unbiased way. This has many legal responsibilities.

Accurate
A journalist provides a service to the media advising the public to make sure that the news they are going to report is accurate, so he must have provide evidence to to prove the report. The objective of a journalist is to spread the correct and fair report in a calm manner to the audience, rather than rousing them intentionally or trying to allegedly meet the present challenging situation in the news world.

Unbiased
Apart from accuracy, every journalist should certify that their news writing is not biased and delivers the basic facts or to the audience so they can determine with their own set of judgments. Any opinions should be in the form of attributed quotes and a good journalist should not show a one-sided story.

Legal Responsibility
A journalist must also follow the rules, especially regarding the confidentiality and privacy of the people they interview or write about. If a journalist carelessly reports or writes about criminal allegations against a person, for example, he could face a termination of his position if the accusations are proved untrue.

Typical Jobs Involved

• Reading other articles
• Researching for articles
• Establishing and maintaining contacts
• Interviewing sources
• Writing, editing, and submitting copies
• Attending events
• Proofreading
• Verifying statements and facts
• Establishing a working relationship, typically in order to cooperate on a matter of mutual concern.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory to excellent level of English or communication skills
• Understanding the rules and handbook of the network
• No criminal record ((no active DM warnings))
• Acquired all vehicle licenses
• Ability to use net communication software for long distance co-operation ((discord and skype))
