A currently unidentified gunman has murdered 4 people and injured 10 at Greengrass College in Las Venturas this morning, causing waves of grief and reigniting the debate on gun ownership in the state of San Andreas.

The Timeline

The perpetrator, caught on unreleased CCTV footage, appears to enter the campus grounds at 9:08 AM, where he parks a Patriot model jeep with no license plates. From there, he is seen retrieving a an M4 assault carbine and a SPAS-12 combat shotgun as an auxiliary firearm.
As all current college campuses, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Greengrass college is currently operating with a skeleton crew of employees. Lectures are not being held. Students can, however, visit the library and IT facilities. It appears that the low amount of traffic permitted the gunman to walk through the parking lot without drawing attention to himself, despite clearly being armed.

At 9:15 AM, a security drone captures the perpetrator round a corner of the main building. He opens fire on several students standing near the entrance. The shots are deafening. People within the building and the nearby park panic and flee. Unfortunately, the shooter's tools of mayhem have the capacity of hitting targets from a great distance.
Two college students are killed on the spot. Two others bleed out while awaiting the Las Venturas emergency response team. Five staff members are critically injured, while another 5 are stable, being treated for exit wounds.

In an attempt to identify the gunman, we have being given permission by the Greengrass College security team to release the captured drone video.

Identifying the shooter

The shooter has yet to be identified, as he fled the scene and is currently on the run from the authorities. However, an ongoing FBI investigation on radical online activity in the region discovered a post from a user named "Sameer_Al_Hayeed", on a forum known to be used by incels, white nationalists and Islamic terrorists alike, to recruit people into their causes.
While the full forum thread has been archived and hidden from public view, the opening post has the user lament his situation with women.

He goes on to post threats in the same thread, such as shooting up "that libshit college nearby", to "teach the chads and staceys a fucking lesson". These threats, corroborated with geo-tracing of the user, lead expert investigators to believe this is the person behind the massacre. Whether the forum name is the perpetrator's real name of simply a nom de guerre remains to be clarified.

If you have any information regarding the white-sharia-now.biz's forum user, Sameer_Al_Hayed, please contact your local precinct OR call 911. Authorities are offering a 1000 $ monetary reward for any info that leads to the identification and arrest of the shooter.

Gun control: the debate rages on

Twitter and other social media sites were on fire with people commenting on the tragedy

In the wake of this catastrophe, political figures, commentators, online activists and citizens flocked to the internet to express their opinions. According to research, there have been over 180 school and college shootings in the USA, with over 365 recorded deaths. For some people, the solution is an open and shut case: More gun control. Limit the capability of people to posses firearms and, according to them, the rate of college shootings will fall. For others, however, the problem is far more nuanced than simply putting a law in place. It is about the 2nd amendment and constitutionality; It is about the ability to protect themselves from violent shooters; It is about providing better mental health to citizens and cracking down on radical groups, rather than depriving honest, hardworking people from their right to bear arms.
