Following @Jerome's announcement posted last week regarding allowing out-of-character trades, I am pleased to announce that this is now in full effect.
What's New:
- Trading in-game properties for real-life money is now allowed
- Trading in-game cash for real-life money is now allowed
- Trading in-game accounts for real-life money is now allowed
- Asset trading is at your own risk
- You can become a Trusted Seller by getting 10 five-star reviews here
Important Guidelines:
- Players previously banned for asset trading can submit a ban appeal and get unbanned
- Lawless Roleplay administrators cannot serve as middlemen
- Read our Black Market guidelines
We are excited to introduce a "Trusted Seller" title for verified, trustworthy sellers. This new title aims to create a safer and more reliable trading environment for our community.
Benefits of being a Trusted Seller:
- Priority access to advertise on our forums and discord server
- Administrators can help assure you if a potential seller/ buyer has the items you want to purchase/trade
How to Become a Trusted Seller:
- Get at least 10 full five-star reviews posted here
- Apply to become a Trusted Seller here
- Alternatively, you can purchase the Trusted Seller tag for a very low monthly fee in our store
- Anyone scamming as a Trusted Seller will be blacklisted permanently
Where can I advertise?
- If you are a Trusted Seller, you can advertise on our priority sections on forums or discord
- If you are not a Trusted Seller, you can only advertise on our discord
Protecting Yourself from Scams:
- Verify the credibility of the seller/ buyer by checking reviews and feedback here
- Use secure payment methods that offer buyer protection
- Avoid sharing personal information and be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true
- If using PayPal, request payments are made as 'Friends/ Family' to avoid chargeback and disputes
- Look for 'Trusted Sellers' instead
