News SA-MP Server requires 0.3.7-R5

SA-MP Client 0.3.7-R5 Requirement​

As part of our upcoming C.O.C.K. (Coded Observation Cheat K-Liner) anti-cheat update, we will require all players to use SA-MP 0.3.7-R5 or higher to connect to the server. This change is being introduced to block known client-side hacks and exploits used with older versions.

Why?
We're stepping up our efforts to provide a safer, fairer gameplay experience for everyone. Older client versions are no longer secure, and unfortunately, are being abused to exploit and cheat. This update is one of several steps we’re taking to restore balance and integrity to the server.

What do I need to do?
Download and install a compatible client by following this guide:

www.lawlessrp.com/samp

We strongly recommend switching to Open Multiplayer (open.mp). It's a modern alternative that:

• Gets regular updates and is maintained
• Has a working internet list
• You can change your SA-MP version per server (R4 also works)
• Discord integration

If you have any questions or need support - please ask them either here on the forums or receive excellent community support on our Discord server.

When does this take effect?
This requirement is currently live (28th May 2025). If you're using an older client, you'll be automatically kicked upon connection after this change.

Keep this server as a souvenir it holds a lot of memories. Last time I played was the COVID19 lockdown and I loved how we reunited and how from 15y olds we were 25y olds who achieved a lot in life but still acting 15 and screaming over some newfag from a netcafe that cappd our turf in the "Less than a minute" stage.

But let's be real, there's no reviving this server when 99% of the OGs who kept it alive are now married with kids. Maybe in 10 years, we’ll force our sons to Matrun, but for now... it’s a lost cause.


@Troy Thane isn’t 13 anymore he’s a beast now. The kind of beast who could outbox 10 Pinoys, the Johnsons, and the Vendetta Racers just for fun.

My BRONX brothers are hustling all around the world and we are all in touch seeing each other make it, all this brotherhood that came from dming in this server..

Lawless is now like that grandpa living alone in the mountains slowly fading, but worth visiting for the nostalgia which sometimes is not too good to deal with.
