Being a part of the Helpers Team requires a lot of responsibility, since being a helper is the first step you take as a staff member in the community. Therefore, you must show that you are capable of becoming an official staff member and of handling the responsibilities that come with it.
To become a helper, you must show interest in helping the community and prove that you are capable of handling the responsibilities of being one. We are always on the lookout, so if you’re ready and you fit the position, we will hire you.
The requirements for becoming a helper are, but are not limited to:
- Having some experience, we will not be hiring new players who aren’t familiar with the server script, experience in other places may help but does not necessarily count.
- Your English doesn't have to be perfect, but you must be able to give answers without making basic grammar mistakes that the players can understand.
- Your account must be secured, meaning you’re the only one who can access it, and you’re playing from your personal computer.
- You must be active in-game, players who log in for 10 minutes a day or less can’t get much done around here.
- You must be actively helping players, replying in the support channel (/newb) is a great way of doing it, but alone is not enough. be helpful and supportive, especially when helping new players.
- While a clean punishment list is not required, you cannot have punishments in your history that’ve been issued to you lately. For you to be a role model to other players, you must first follow the server rules yourself.
- Your attitude is everything, getting into uncomfortable situations or unnecessary arguments and using inappropriate language in public chats is not something we are looking for in a potential member of the Helpers team.
- Be yourself, don’t copy the responses of other players or helpers in the support channel. Even if you make mistakes, learn from them. Copying answers you don’t understand yourself is not the way to go.
These guidelines will help you, but this process is meant to help you understand the importance of being a helper, how rewarding it is to be helping the community and its members, and the number of responsibilities you will be handling as a helper.
While we do not answer to questions such as "Can you hire me?", if you have any other questions you can contact the helper managers for clarifications about matters that are still unclear to you.
Signed, Raz.
Chief Of Staff.
