You should take a look in Ottoman translated documents in Ankara or Istanbul digital libraries, there was an aprox martyr count of 250-300k from the Ottoman side, while some western documents claims it was 50.000, to me it feels like the numbers shown by western sources are downplayed to "minimize" damages after it was considered this was a blunder from Churchills' side
