With these kind of specifications, playing CS 1.6 should be a piece of cake right? Well it used to have no problem supporting this game. Lately though, after playing for 20 minutes or so, the laptop makes this god awful sound and then everything starts to lag. When I shoot up the Task Manager it states my Memory is 100 percent used. Some Service Host: Local System (Network Restricted) takes the most space.

I've done an anti-virus scan and nothing showed up. I would really appreciate your help guys.

Do you frequently clean your laptop from any dust that piles up? My laptop started getting FPS issues on games it could run perfectly. weird noises, a fan going crazy when all I did was run google chrome, and I couldn't play any game without burning my fingers. You won't believe the dust cloud that emerged from it when I finally decided to clean it. All my problems were solved after that.

In all seriousness though I assume it's something relative to what Cynthia said. Probably dust man. That's what it sounds like.

My laptop is just 2 months old...I seriously don't think it is due to dust accumulation. I'll still try cleaning my fan though. Will update you with the results.
