Question

In-Character Name:
Danny_Lauren

Service:
SA:MP

Question:
Ok, bit of a fuck up RN.. not too sure whats going down. As you've all probably seen some of my recordings in a FC or wherever, It usually records fine at around 80-100FPS using fraps, but recently.. Thats dropped.. Massively. Its now struggling to record at 25-29FPS. Not entirely sure what to do.

PC Specs:

Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz

Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

RAM
8.0 GB

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Recording with fraps =
Used to be : 100+ when not recording, it just pings around up to like 180..
Now its : 60-62 sometimes bumps upto 80 :L? When not recording,
- Used to record @ 80-95 FPS perfectly fine, no lag or w/e.
- now it records @ 25-30 FPS but legit struggles, sends my screen MAD.

Recording with DXTORY =
Used to be : over 150+ when not recording pinging from 150 to 280
Now its : 80-90, sometimes his 98 @ its highest atm, *not recording*
- Used to record @ around 120 FPS.. perfectly fine. All stable,
- now it records @ around 25-30 fps and legit mad screen again

Recording with Camtasia =
- Never shat on my FPS
- Never failed to record perfectly fine
-- doesn't show my FPS, but I can't feel any FPS lag.
--- I dont see any FPS lag in my gameplay in the recordings
(I dont want to use this because it saves and w/e the files in a weird way)

I really hope someone has / knows a fix.. its REALLY pissing me off, it started a few days ago. I'v had 0 modded things and It STILL fucks up my FPS. I'v reinstalled 4 times possibly thinking it might be a corrupted file or something, nope.. still shitty FPS.

Pls, help me. Thanks. [ inb4 "u got shit pc, kys faggot" , l m a o. just kiss me already]

Over time, both the file and the hard disk itself become fragmented, and your computer slows down as it has to look in many different places to open a file. I would suggest you Defrag your hard drive to rearrange the files on it.

Scan for hardware and malware virus's as they effect your computer.

Make sure your computers hard disk isnt full, make sure you have plenty of space left because it'll massively decrease your fps while recording.

Yes, that's a lot of files and render space being taken up, move it to an external hard drive or upload it to a cloud and than delete it from your pc.
